We are seeking associates (Rechtsanwälte) (m/f/d) to join our Dispute Resolution practice at our London office.

Our London team represents clients from Germany and abroad in international commercial and investment arbitrations and complex cross-border disputes. We act in proceedings conducted under the rules of leading arbitral institutions such as the ICC, LCIA, SCC, DIS and CIETAC. Our practice focuses on post-M&A and shareholder disputes, distribution law and general commercial and business law. We have a particular focus on disputes in the aerospace and infrastructure sectors. We also advise on the enforcement and setting aside of arbitral awards and the enforcement of foreign judgments. Members of our team also serve as arbitrators.

Your role

Your role will focus on:

  • Representing clients from Germany and abroad in international commercial and investment arbitrations, particularly under ICC, DIS, CIETAC and ICSID rules, as well as in complex cross-border proceedings before national courts
  • Analysing complex, extensive matters, providing legal assessment and developing and implementing litigation strategies
  • In addition to representing clients in traditional litigation, the role also includes advising and assisting our clients on all types of contentious situations. You will have direct contact with clients from the outset and work closely with colleagues from other practice areas
  • The role focuses on commercial disputes, general contract and liability law and M&A transactions

Your profile

  • State examinations with grades of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
  • Relevant experience in dispute resolution
  • Business-fluent English, preferably acquired abroad. Other foreign languages beneficial.
  • Additional qualifications such as an LL.M. or doctorate welcome
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach, a focus on solutions, dedication, team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility
