We are seeking research assistants (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our Banking and Finance practice at our Frankfurt office.

Gleiss Lutz advises banks and large and medium-sized German and foreign enterprises on all aspects of banking and finance. Your role will focus on corporate, acquisition and real estate financing; bonds; banking regulatory law; and restructuring.

Your role

You’ll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. You’ll conduct legal research, analyse legal issues and present your findings in a clear and structured format. You’ll also contribute to drafting, reviewing and revising pleadings, contracts and other legal documents, as well as – depending on your practice area – academic publications.

You can start at any time – during your university studies, your doctorate, or while completing your practical legal training.

Your profile

  • First (or first and second) state examination(s), each with a grade of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
  • Very good command of English
  • Interest in business-related issues and challenging work
  • Enthusiasm for applying innovative technologies in the legal profession
  • A structured approach to legal analysis
