Research Assistant (m/f/d) Dispute Resolution
About us
We are seeking research assistants (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our Dispute Resolution (Arbitration) practice at our Stuttgart office.
Our practice focuses on representing clients from Germany and abroad in complex disputes before courts and arbitral tribunals. We analyse complex, difficult matters in depth, assess them from a legal perspective, develop litigation strategies and put them into practice.
Your role
You’ll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. The role focuses on international civil procedural law and arbitration law, on disputes relating to M&A transactions and on general contract and liability law. A significant part of our work concerns cross-border matters, meaning that private international law and international investment protection law also play a key role. In addition to traditional litigation, the role also includes advising our clients on all types of contentious situations.
You can start at any time – during your university studies, your doctorate, or while completing your practical legal training.
Your profile
- First (or first and second) state examination(s), each with a grade of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
- Very good command of English
- Interest in business-related issues and challenging work
- Enthusiasm for applying innovative technologies in the legal profession
- A structured approach to legal analysis
What we offer
- Outstanding professional development: Active involvement in legal work, close collaboration with our lawyers, and regular feedback
- One Step Ahead programme: Comprehensive professional development with lectures, workshops, legal English courses and modern AI tools such as Harvey AI and the Jurafuchs learning app, as well as additional exam-focused offerings depending on your stage of training
- Wellbeing offerings: Access to our Corporate Health Programme, including the EGYM Wellpass
- Networking & events: Networking opportunities at after-work events and group activities to build valuable connections and gain insight into our firm’s culture
A direct route into the world of legal work – for those who want to start putting theory into practice. Apply now and join a team that embodies excellence and supports your professional growth.
We value qualification, personality, and potential. We welcome applications regardless of gender, age, disability, ethnic or social background, religion, belief, sexual orientation or identity.
