We are seeking research assistants (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our Dispute Resolution practice at our Hamburg office.

Our practice focuses on representing clients from Germany and abroad in complex litigation, especially in the field of mechanical and plant engineering. We analyse complex, technically driven matters in depth, assess them from a legal perspective, develop litigation strategies together with our clients and put them into practice. In addition to traditional litigation, our work also includes advising our clients on all types of contentious situations. We also handle with corporate compliance investigations and the resulting disputes.

Your role

You’ll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. You’ll conduct legal research, analyse legal issues and present your findings in a clear and structured format. You’ll also contribute to drafting, reviewing and revising pleadings, contracts and other legal documents, as well as – depending on your practice area – academic publications.

You can start at any time – during your university studies, your doctorate, or while completing your practical legal training.

Your profile

  • First (or first and second) state examination(s), each with a grade of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
  • Very good command of English
  • Interest in business-related issues and challenging work
  • Enthusiasm for applying innovative technologies in the legal profession
  • A structured approach to legal analysis
