We are seeking research assistants (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) and trainee lawyers (Referendare) (m/f/d) to join our corporate/M&A practices’ Korea team at our offices across Germany.
Gleiss Lutz has advised on a large number of transactions involving Korean parties in recent years and has established a strong reputation as a leading law firm for Korean investors in Germany. Recent highlights include:
- Doosan Bobcat, Inc. on its proposed public acquisition of Wacker Neuson SE
- DN Solutions on its acquisition of the Heller Group
- Shinhan Asset Management on the potential enforcement of a pledge over shares in Accentro AG
- Hansol Paper on its sale of R+S and Schades
- NICE on the sale of its majority interest in BBS
Your role
You’ll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. You’ll assist on the advice provided to our Korean clients on M&A transactions, corporate law and other areas of law.
You can start at any time – during your university studies, your doctorate, or while completing your practical legal training.
Your profile
- First (or first and second) state examination(s), each with a grade of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
- Very good command of English
- Interest in business-related issues and challenging work
- Enthusiasm for applying innovative technologies in the legal profession
- A structured approach to legal analysis
- Availability to work at least two days a week
