We are seeking a research assistant (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our IP/Tech practice at our Berlin office immediately.
At Gleiss Lutz, IP/tech is a dedicated practice area within a dynamic firm advising international business. You can expect a diverse range of engaging tasks including from strategic advisory work for our notable clients, handling commercially significant litigation in Germany and abroad, drafting and negotiating complex contracts and preparing academic publications.
Your role
Your work will focus on the following:
- Technology transactions, including outsourcing projects, carve-outs, cloud agreements, and IT and telecommunications procurement
- Digital economy, data economy and AI
- Cybersecurity
- E-commerce
- Trademarks and designs
- Unfair competition
- Libel law
- Copyright and media law
Your profile
- First (or first and second) state examination(s), each with a grade of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
- Very good command of English
- Interest in business-related issues and challenging work
- Experience with GenAI tools and workflows
