We are seeking research assistants (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our IP/Tech practice at our Stuttgart office.
In the age of high technology and the information society, the protection of intellectual property is gaining increasing importance. That’s why at Gleiss Lutz we treat IP/tech as a dedicated practice area – within a dynamic firm advising international business.
The IP/Tech practice area comprises the following fields:
- Patents
- IT law
- Trademarks
- Unfair competition
- Design law
- Copyright and media law
Your role
You’ll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. You will primarily support us on engaging and diverse tasks as part of the strategic advice we provide to our notable clients. You will also contribute to drafting IP and IT contracts, including in connection with M&A deals. And you’ll work on commercially significant litigation, publications and lectures and on internal knowledge management in the area of intellectual property.
You can start at any time – during your university studies, your doctorate, or while completing your practical legal training.
Your profile
- First (or first and second) state examination(s), each with a grade of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
- Very good command of English
- Interest in business-related issues and challenging work
- Enthusiasm for applying innovative technologies in the legal profession
- A structured approach to legal analysis
- Availability to work at least two to three days a week
